I am an English as a Second Language teacher who loves to travel.... I have lived in Italy, Scotland, Ireland and England. I have friends all over the world and I love going to visit them whenever I can.
Well, I'm 20 years old. Well traveled (I studied in Scotland for a year and a half until it got to be to expensive), good looking I'm told. I read a lot, mostly sci-fi and horror (Edgar Poe, Lovecraft, etc.) but I also enjoy the classics. I love to write and draw random stuff. I'm shy, but I open up once I get to know someone. Cats are sacred animals, the ancient Egyptians had it right on that one. I think the world is going to end, but a lot of people have thought that for about forever, so I doubt it actually will.
Hey there! I never quite know what to say on these things, so here goes. I'm pretty laid back and fun loving. I love to laugh, and to make other people laugh, although some would probably debate my comedic talents! I'm pretty cool with going out among the masses, or enjoying a quiet evening at home. I love watching movies, although reality TV makes my head hurt! I admit it, I don't really know how to cook....many a good cook have tried to teach me, to no avail!. I love curling up on the couch with a good book, but there is nothing like a nice walk in the crisp fall air. Traveling is awesome, and I do it when ever I get a chance...one day I WILL get back to Scotland!
Hey people, sawasdee!! I'm Thai American and I'm pending for winter vacation in Miami, so I'm looking around for people to meet for then. I went to art school and now I'm working in Media Post Production field. I don't have a religion but for my ID purposes.. I go with //Buddhist//. Anyway, I believe in you!! ;) I'm //short//, like the actor in Station Agent.. but hotter.. hehe :) This week I'm in Boston w/ my sisters for Thanksgiving. Ok cupid, I love //swimming//beaches//tennis and //driving top down on my convertible! and of course, being healthy & wealthy. Movie wise, too many.. I've been watching //Long Way Down// recently. It's a documentary about a journey of 2 bikers riding their tour bikes from Scotland to Africa. Here: http://www.longwaydown.com/
I'm a short nerdgirl from South Jersey. I tend to talk a lot about shit that interests no one, and I'm lazy. Do not be fooled by my technicolor hair and my penchant for wearing day glo colors and animal print - I am not punk rock. I am a weenie. I like Star Trek and Mystery Science Theater 3000 and I'm attracted to goofy boys above anything else, except when I'm perving on old men. I'm a bit of a political junkie - registered Democrat, volunteered and voted for Obama in the '08 election, but definitely of the progressive wing of the party. I consider myself a bit of a pragmatic idealist, if that makes any sense (it doesn't). In any case, it's all something I'm into. I spend most of my fun time in Philadelphia and NYC - and I'm still dying to go back to Edinburgh, Scotland.
I love reading (history, novels, science fiction, and fantasy) and soccer (playing--badly!--and watching). I like movies of all sorts (from romance to adventure to comedy--as long as it's not too slapstick). I love to sing (whether people love to hear it is a different matter) and I'm determined to start learning how to play the guitar. I listen to a wide range of music, though right now my favourites are traditional and modern folk music. I love to sit about and talk, to discuss and to debate, but I also like to get out and enjoy nature. I've been hiking in the Appalachians and the Rockies, walking in the Lake District, canoeing in the Berkshires, sea-kayaking off the Isle of Skye, and I've been sailing in the Caribbean and off the west coast of Scotland. After a lifetime of not knowing have become quite addicted to the local bike trails. When indoors, I spend a lot of my time playing games or just hanging out with friends, surfing the Internet, or curled up with a book, a couple of cats, and a cup of tea.
I am an import from Scotland into the United States and have been here since 1968; when I was a wee lad of 3. People describe me as trustworthy, friendly and off-kilter (usually stating them all in reverse order). To head you off at the pass, yes, I have an accent, but only when I am mad or very nervous; all other times I have your standard American accent, without any regional dialectic tones.
Hello There I have recently moved over here from Scotland. I am a super easy going and laid back person. Who has a lot of love to give and im looking for the right person to give it too. I have been Here for over a year and still don't really know that many people, so if i don't find that special person it would still be nice to make some new friends. I am very random at times, i am a very adventurous person at times and other times i just like to snuggle up and relax at home.
I'm an easy going, laid back sort of guy with a good sense of humor, but I can also be intense and ambitious. My ultimate goal is to conquer Russia. I'm an author and have travelled all over the world. I've lived in England, Scotland, China and Nepal. While I don't know what our highest purpose on earth is, I'm open to every possible explanation.
I'm very liberal. I'm agnostic and generally pretty cynical about religion. Despite that, I'm very open-minded and interested in exchanging (non-insulting) opinions about just about everything. I went to a private high school and an all girls' school (otherwise known as a women's school) for undergrad. This is my first time living away from the East Coast. I am a Yankees fan but I'm convinced I have magical powers over baseball teams - where ever I've lived the past three years, the team has gone to the World Series. I'm just that cool. I love girly drinks, Guinness, and shots (of pretty much anything). I learned to drink in Scotland at the University of Edinburgh.
